December 25th Birthday

The similarities between Mithraism and Christianity have included their chapels, the term "father" for priest, celibacy and, it is notoriously claimed, the December 25^th birthdate. Over the centuries, apologists contending that Mithraism copied Christianity nevertheless have asserted that the December 25^th birthdate was taken from Mithraism. As Sir Arthur Weigall says:

December 25^th was really the date, not of the birth of Jesus, but of the sun-god Mithra. Horus, son of Isis, however, was in very early times identified with Ra, the Egyptian sun-god, and hence with Mithra...

Mithra's birthday on December 25th has been so widely claimed that the Catholic Encyclopedia ("Mithraism") remarks: "The 25 December was observed as his birthday, the natalis invicti, the rebirth of the winter-sun, unconquered by the rigours of the season."

Artemis
Artemis and her younger twin brother Apollo were the children of Zeus and Leto, born in Delos. She is the lady of the forest and all the wild things, as well as the Huntsman- in-chief to the gods, an odd office for a woman. Like Apollo she hunts with silver arrows. She is one of the three virgin goddesses along with Athena and Hestia. Surprisingly, she also presides over childbirth, this goes back to the fact that she did not cause her mother any pain when she was born. As always in Greek Mythology, she also had her dark side, showing her as fierce and vengeful warrior. For example, although she is the protector of the young, she kept the Greek Fleet from sailing to Troy, until Iphigenia, a royal maiden, daughter of the Commander in Chief Agamemnon was sacrificed to her. All because the Greek soldiers killed one of the creatures, a hare, together with her young. On the other hand, when women died a quick and painless death, they were said to have been slain by Artemis' silver arrows.

Artemis was vindictive and there were many who suffered from her anger. One of her actions was to join Apollo in killing the children on Niobe. Artemis took part in the battle against the Giants, where she killed Gration. She also destroyed the Aloadae and is said to have killed the monster Bouphagus. Other victims of Artemis included Orion and Actaeon, as well as Meleager, who was fated to die as the result of the Calydonian Boar hunt instigated by Artemis.

Artemis was also associated with the moon, and called Phoebe and Selene (Luna in Latin), neither name originally belonged to her. Phoebe was a titan, one of the elder gods. So was Selene, a moon- goddess and sister of Helios, the sun-god often confused with Artemis' brother, Apollo. In the later poems Artemis became associated with another goddess, Hecate, the dark and awful goddess of the lower world. Hecate was the Goddess of the Dark of the Moon, the black nights when the moon is hidden. She was associated with deeds of darkness, the Goddess of the Crossways, which were held to be ghostly places of evil magic; and awful divinity. Thus she became "the goddess with three forms," Selene in the sky, Artemis on earth and Hecate in the lower world as well as in the world above, when it is wrapped in darkness. In Artemis is shown most vividly the uncertainty between good and evil which exists in every god. Ironically, this contrast is least apparent in her brother, the God of Light, Apollo.

Artemis was held in honor in al the wild and mountainous areas of Greece, in Arcadia and in the country of Sparta, in Laconia on Mount Taygetus and in Elis. Her most famous shrine was at Ephesus. Artemis absorbed some cults that involved human sacrifice, such as that practiced in Tauris. She was also the protecting deity of the Amazons who, like her, were warriors and huntresses and independent of men.

The cypress is her tree. All wild animals are scared to her, but especially the deer. She is almost always depicted with her bow and a fawn; and very often, also with Apollo.

Her biggest temple was build in Ephesus which became one of the SEVEN Wonders of the Ancient World. In the nearby museum of Selcuk you can sea two beautiful marble statues of Artemis Polimastros (with many breasts), as she was called in the Ionian region of Asia Minor.

WHY 7?

Poseidon
Poseidon is the ruler of the sea, often called the "Earth- shaker." After Zeus, with his brothers and sisters, defeated the Titans and dethroned Cronus, Zeus, Poseidon and Hades drew lots for one of the three realms to rule. Zeus got the heavens and thus became the supreme ruler, Hades got the underworld and Poseidon got the sea. Poseidon is very powerful, second only to Zeus himself. Poseidon had a magnificent palace beneath the sea, but spent much of his time participating in the festivities in Olympus with the other gods. Poseidon's wife is Amphitrite, granddaughter of the titan Oceanus.

Poseidon, had a very encroaching disposition, he was very dissatisfied with the his share of the world and once even conspired to dethrone Zeus. But his plot was discovered and in punishment Zeus exiled him to earth. There he was to build the walls of Troy in Anatolia for king Laomedon. He was helped by Apollo, who at the time was also banished from Olympus at that time, Apollo was able to move the heaviest of stones with just the sound of his lyre. After the task was completed Laomedon refused to reward them as promised and that was the chief reason why Poseidon was on the Greek side during the Trojan War.

Although Poseidon did give men the first horse, his primary importance was as Lord of the Sea, at his command winds rose and the most violent of storms began, but when he drove in his golden car over the water, the storms subsided and tranquil peace followed his wheels.

Both the bull and the horse are associated with Poseidon, but the bull is associated with many other gods as well, so the horse can be considered his animal. He was always depicted carrying, or using, his distinguishing weapon, the trident, a three- pronged spear which he used to shatter and shake anything he pleased.

ALL THIS IS SAYING, IN A LITERAL SENSE, IS THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH CONQUERED GREECE AND TOOK THE TRADITIONS, BELIEFS, RITUALS, SYMBOLS AND AS MUCH OF THE KNOWLEDGE THEY COULD SEIZE AND BUILT A MANIPULATED, MATERIAL, MASCULINE RULED WORLD WITH IT.

What is the History of the Temple of Artemis?

The Temple of Artemis was built in the great city of Ephesus. The Ephesus Goddess Artemis (also called Diana) is not the same Artemis the Greeks worshipped. The Greek Artemis is the goddess of the hunt while the Ephesus Artemis is a goddess of fertility. The Temple of Artemis was built by some of the best architects of that time. On July 21, 356 BC (the same night Alexander the Great was born,) a man named Herostratus wanted his name to go down in history so he burnt the temple down. No expense was spared in the reconstruction of the temple. The temple was eventually destroyed by the Goths in 262 AD. The city of Ephesus was deserted many years later. In the late 1900s, the remains of the temple were dug up from what is now a swamp. A few columns still remain and the British Museum in London has sculptures from the Temple of Artemis.

What Does the Temple of Artemis Look Like?

Many gods had temples built for them so what's so special about the Temple of Artemis? It was made completely of marble except for a tile-covered wooden roof. The marble made it one of the seven wonders of the world. There were approximately 127 columns aligned over the entire platform area except for in the center. The exact number of columns isn't known and it's also assumed that there was a statue of Artemis in the middle. The ancient wonder had many works of art by the most talented artists, including bronze statues of Amazons. At one time, the temple was a marketplace (souvenir shops were popular) as well as a religious structure. If you don't mind muddy feet, you can visit the ruins of the Temple of Artemis.

Why does the Pope?

The fact is the origin of the hat goes back long before Jesus and can be traced to an ancient Babylonian fish-god named Dagon.

The excavations done of ancient Nineveh and Babylon have shed light on the shocking connection between Dagon the fish-god and the Pope’s Mitre (hat).

According to Egyptian mythology, when the judges found Osiris [Nimrod] guilty of corrupting the religion of Adam and cut up his body, they threw the parts into the Nile. It was said that a fish ate one of these chunks and became transformed. Later, Isis [Semiramis] was fishing along the river bank when she fished up a half-man, half-fish. This sea creature was Dagon, the reincarnated Nimrod.

Dagon is the representation of Nimrod (of ancient Babylon) resurrecting out of the ocean depths as a half-man, half-fish.

Actually, both theories are correct. There is an evolutionary chain of events though the end result of the human, up until the time of the Sumerian civilization, being an advanced form of species was shifted into a higher form by the genetic manipulation of the human and other species genetics. What is seen as "the updated human" today (going from homo-habilis to homo-sapien) was tampered with at one point and the manipulated genetics resulted in a species that is able to grow faster in consciousness at a certain point where they were once unable to do. IN other words, the human's dna was fused at one point by those that did not want to co-create a species that could evolve beyond a slave-like being, whereas the other extraterrestrial contributors did want the human to evolve in order to continue creation to higher levels. Ever heard of Lucifer? Well, it is an entity that wanted humans to remain sleepers (sheep) here in this material realm. What better way than to hide the
truth in DNA? When the "junk" wakes up (fuses back to the orginal state of genetical alignment with higher source) the human then becomes "the enlightened" and the spiritual part of what we are, energy body (etheric body, soul, lightbody) is able to blend with higher realmsn where the truth, knowledge and higher light exists. The material no longer keeps the sould prisoner! This 3rd dimension is an illusion made of energy particle clumped together. It is not needed in higher realms. Yet, the universal body can ascend when the hu-man is complete and whole. This is when the hu-man becomes human.. This is why the Bible has 2 creations of the "MAN" and two creations of "light" It's common sense!

AND PROVEN BOTH SPIRITUALLY AND MATERIALLY THROUGH SCIENCE AND MYSTICISM HAND IN HAND. Too much evidence exists and going back in time to the origins of the beginning of the Hu-man is required to understand this. Going to college can't give you what is beyond what is seen.
